The Funny Creative Workshop That Isn’t One (But Kind of Is)
So here’s the thing… I launched a workshop.
But before you spiral (or unsubscribe), hear me out.
This isn’t that kind of workshop.
There will be no breakout rooms.
No action plans.
No high-energy videos of people walking on metaphorical fire.
This is the Workshop for People Who Quit Workshops—a funny creative workshop that understands your burnout, your side quests, and your need to feel like you’re doing something without actually doing much.
Exhibit A: The Setup

I had the best of intentions.
“I’m launching a workshop! It’s gonna help creatives thrive!”
That’s what I told people. And myself.
But the truth?
The people I made this for (read: me) don’t thrive on structure. We thrive on spiral, sarcasm, and snacks.
Exhibit B: The Branding Shift

So I changed the name.
Because nobody can complain about a workshop that already admits you might bail halfway through.
The whole premise is this:
And maybe share snacks, if we’re being honest.
- You don’t need another masterclass.
- You need space to laugh at the burnout, maybe write something, and feel seen.
- And maybe share snacks, if we’re being honest.
Exhibit C: The Format (courtesy of Nil)

This is Nil.
He’s emotionally unavailable, judgmental, and allergic to your expectations.
When asked for workshop formatting advice, he replied:
“Suggested format: 0% structure, 100% coping.”
And honestly? That’s the agenda.
Exhibit D: The Feedback (from Syntax, obviously)

ven Syntax weighed in.
And his summary?
“By ‘workshop’ you mean ‘shared spiral with snacks’??”
Yes, Syntax. Yes we do.
So what is this funny creative workshop?
It’s a newsletter.
It’s a vibe.
It’s a choose-your-own-adventure spiral that might involve downloadable worksheets, judgmental cats, emotional support robots, and bad ideas that accidentally become zines.
If you’re creative, exhausted, and allergic to 5-step frameworks, this might be the workshop you don’t quit.
